The space was roomy, clean, and comfortable, and having a community kitchen was a bonus. The bed was comfortable and the setting was quiet.

The room was beautiful, tidy, and quiet, and the host was kind and welcoming. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was lovely. I’d recommend it. The room lights were weak; we couldn’t see inside the wardrobe and only the bedside lamp was adequate. I’d suggest adding more lighting. The breakfast could use a sweeter, more tempting option.

The welcome from Helena was amazing; she’s very attentive and makes sure every guest has what they need for a great holiday. The house is lovely and tastefully decorated. The shared facilities include everything needed to cook and unwind. Breakfast items are exceptional, with homemade cakes baked daily. I recommend this place at 110%! It’s in a rural setting, close to the island’s northern coast. The scenery is beautiful and invites you to disconnect and relax. Don’t hesitate to stay at Solar de Carvalho if you love nature and need a break. Everything was perfect.

The stay was amazing. Perfect accommodation with a perfect host lady. We had a sleeping room, a small living area, and outdoor seating. The mountain view is breathtaking. The large kitchen was shared by everyone, but we mostly kept to ourselves. Breakfast was prepared in the fridge—salads, cheeses, options to make eggs, homemade honey and jam, yogurt, muesli, always something sweet, milk, juice, homemade bananas. Coffee and tea were available anytime. Great location with parking. Thank you very much. Highly recommend.

Helena is an excellent host to communicate with for anything you need. Had an excellent stay in a very cozy place, with an excellent cleaning regimen as well. The person doing the cleaning does such a nice job. The kitchen is very big and is equipped with everything and always filled with food to eat and cook. I spent 8 nights here and would do it again
