The apartment gave us a lot of space – we had a wardrobe, a sofa and a table, basically everything you need. Parking was right in front of the building and the restaurant was just next door, and the staff were really friendly. The only thing I missed was a hairdryer.

The hotel is tucked behind the San Remo pizzeria, so it’s not the easiest to find, but the rooms are very clean and nicely arranged. It sits in a quiet area yet remains within walking distance of the small city centre. Reception was warm and straightforward.

The staff were extremely helpful and the room with its own bathroom was large enough to sleep in comfortably. The downside was that air‑conditioning wasn’t included in the price and they charged extra for it.

We got a room that included a generously sized bedroom, everything was tidy and the free parking was a nice perk.
