“Siamo stati molto bene”

The hotel is just over the road, behind the railway, a renovated old house with a lovely garden. The owners were very kind and helpful (we had our little dog with us, which is hard to find a beach that accepts dogs). The lady at breakfast was very friendly. The parking was excellent: inside the hotel and covered. The location was perfect – a few minutes’ walk to the centre, and across the street you immediately reach the beach, restaurants and bars. We didn’t hear any train noise. In our room the bathroom was a bit small but usable (soap and foam bath provided). For those staying many days there isn’t much space to lay out beach towels in our room. A kettle in the room would be appreciated. I think the breakfast could be improved with more fresh items and maybe omelettes and crepes made on the spot (though we were there at the end of September) and small details in room cleanliness. Definitely a hotel of more than two stars! We had a great stay and will definitely return. Thanks for everything. I would improve the breakfast and having a kettle and coffee in the room would be top.

The rooms were comfortable and well equipped. Air conditioning and a fan were present. The manager is very kind.

“Joli hotel d'extérieur comme intérieur. On aurait aimé un acceuil un peu plus jovial.”

The breakfast was decent but far too sweet, and the fruit juices felt industrial; the bread, however, was excellent. The lady at breakfast was a delight—helpful, kind, discreet, and very pleasant. The location is close to the sea, just across the road, but about 1.5 km from the town centre, so a walk is required, which is fine for those who can walk a lot. The fridge in the room came with a few welcome water bottles. The parking was a problem: when I booked it was listed as free, yet after validation a strange €10 per day fee appeared, and this has happened twice now on Booking. The reception staff’s lack of smiles—probably the owner—made us feel uncomfortable; she never even said hello, and at one point we had to ask her to make an effort. The room equipment needs updating: the hairdryer barely works, and the fan feels like it might lift off if turned on, so we left it at the lowest speed. We didn’t ask the reception for anything, just wanted to avoid being sent away.

“Consigliato”

Un weekend rilassante, la struttura molto bella ed accogliente, ha un giardinetto favoloso. I punti di forza la colazione a buffet con scelta varia tra salato e dolce. La camera spaziosa e pulita. Il materasso comodissimo. C'è l'aria condizionata e anche un ventilatore a soffitto. Per i fumatori, al piano delle camere c'è un balconcino da utilizzare. Non ho visto l'ascensore (le camere sono al primo piano) ma per chi ha delle difficoltà motorie potrebbe essere un problema. Passa davanti la ferrovia, ma niente di grave, durante il nostro soggiorno, essendo fuori, ci sarà capitato di sentire il treno passare 2 o 3 volte. Il parcheggio è disponibile in struttura. 5 minuti a piedi si è lungo mare, a 10 minuti è disponibile la spiaggia libera. Non è in una posizione centrale, ma si può raggiungere a piedi il centro. Nella totalità siamo molto soddisfatte, è sicuramente un hotel dove ritornerei con molto piacere. Il personale gentile, con cui si possono scambiare anche due chiacchiere. Tutto ok
