A truly exceptional experience! The vibe and atmosphere were fantastic, the food was great, and the onsen was amazing.

The location was unique, but communication was poor: my booking questions were never answered and the front desk was very unfriendly. Language barriers exist, but if they want international guests they should provide better information on key details.

The historic building feels like stepping back in time, surrounded by nature; the baths are amazing, and both breakfast and dinner are exceptional. The only flaw was the slightly stiff futons, which we weren’t used to.
