The hotel’s location made it perfect for wandering the city and the medina, the staff were pleasant, and the public areas were tidy and beautifully decorated, yet the junior suite we booked felt far too small for its price, was scarcely decorated, the mattress was uncomfortable, and they charged extra for water bottles and for eggs at breakfast.

The riad was gorgeous, superbly situated and the staff were incredibly friendly, and we loved everything.

The staff greeted us warmly right when we arrived, making us feel very welcome, but the bathroom felt a bit dated and dimly lit, and the rooms were fairly basic though the riad itself was very pretty.
