The location is brilliant for exploring Chester, the river rooms are beautiful and well furnished, clean with great facilities, the room was lovely, warm, and very quiet. We didn't encounter anything we disliked and would recommend the river rooms to anyone staying over in Chester; we also dined at the Boat House restaurant, which was equally good, and enjoyed watching the rowers on the river.

The location was excellent for walking into Chester, the hotel was dog friendly, and parking was available; we had no complaints.
