The property was very clean and well maintained; our room was spacious and the area is quiet, away from the louder parts of Malta. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and the overall hospitality was excellent. However, the air conditioning in our room was weak and the room became uncomfortably warm at night, making us sweat. We asked maintenance to check it while we were out, but nothing changed and the room never cooled enough for a good night’s sleep. The hotel has two pools, both shallow, and the pool rules—no diving, rough play or shouting—were not enforced; children often screamed, splashed and dove, which made it hard to relax. This was especially disappointing for guests hoping for a quiet pool area. Better enforcement would improve the experience. Overall, the property feels pricey for what it offers. Despite being a resort, it didn’t feel as relaxing as expected, mainly because of the pool atmosphere. The breakfast also didn’t match the price point; the menu was largely the same each day with only minor changes, so I expected more variety and better quality.
Everything was perfect, and I have no complaints; I head to Urban Valley every year for a weekend getaway.
The spa and taxi service were great.
I was impressed by the attentive service and warm staff who arranged a surprise room for my boyfriend, and I’d definitely recommend it. The stay was fantastic, and the chef and waiter were both accommodating with gluten‑free options, ensuring the best meals for my allergies.
“Nice hotel.”
The location is convenient and parking is straightforward, and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The only downside was that the daytime food selection could have been better.
