The place is right in the middle of town, just steps from the bars and the gondola, which made getting around a breeze. The only downside was the bed – it felt pretty cramped for a full night’s sleep.

The location itself was fine, but the room missed a fridge, the cleaning was lacking and the breakfast was pretty weak.

The hotel sits in a great area and the room was clean, with a kid‑friendly pool and a decent spa that kept the water at a nice temperature. However, the dinner (40 € per person) was awful, parking cost an extra 9 € a night, and the whole place looks stuck in the early 2000s with broken showers, flickering lamps and stained walls. They really need to invest in some upgrades.

The staff really made the stay pleasant – Kris at the front desk got me in early and answered every question, and Vassi in the spa helped me out when a small mishap occurred. The hotel is a short walk from the gondola lift, and the 20‑metre pool, sauna and gym were all solid. A bit of new furniture would freshen things up, and it’d be nice if they stayed open in summer.
