I really enjoyed the stay; the hostess was genuinely friendly and sweet, the room had air‑conditioning, a mirror, and outlets on both sides of the bed, and the bed itself was very comfortable. The shared bathroom was quite nice, and the common living area, wardrobe for each room, and fridge were all well designed. We ate dinner there and had breakfast too, and we even ran into some neighbors, which turned out to be a great experience. The only downside was that the shared bathroom and toilets could disturb light sleepers when others used them, but otherwise everything was fine – the positives of the accommodation outweigh the minor issue, and overall it was a pleasant stay.

The welcome, the beautiful garden, the quietness, and the large, lovely bathroom were great, but the other guests’ lack of respect—talking loudly, slamming doors, and the TV volume in the studio being high—caused noise, especially when they used the stairs; maybe putting rugs on the steps would help.

We really liked the hospitality and the kindness of Nicaise, plus his tips on Creole cuisine; the guesthouse, the rooms, and the shared kitchen were all great, and there was nothing to complain about.

The host greeted us warmly, was kind and understanding, and even though we booked only one night and arrived late, the owner took the time to show us around the villa’s common areas – thank you for the caring approach.
