“This place is out of the way but worth the effort to get there.”
The garden was gorgeous, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The hospitality was good, but the rooms were not that great.

I enjoyed coffee in the garden lit by rain sounds, a truly elegant moment. Before I entered the open-air bath, someone had been smoking in the smoking room, so the bath carried a strong cigarette odor and there were small leaf fragments or something floating in the tub.

The hotel was very pretty even though it’s old. The sink water didn’t flow very well, but otherwise everything was fine. There was little staff, so it felt a bit tense at times, yet the people I met were very welcoming, warm, and smiling. The meals… kaiseki, perfect! Super good! Morning and evening. Still, for those who don’t like Japanese food, you might want another option because it’s really a natural spot with no backup plan for the morning if you don’t like it (I didn’t mind, I liked it!). Thanks again! Nothing else, overall for the price, what more could you ask for?!
