The room felt cozy and had everything we needed right from check‑in, and the spa tub with its view was amazing. We were disappointed that the lodge’s restaurant was closed, but Hyatt is just down the road if you want to grab a bite or snacks.

The bed was very comfortable and the scenery was great, but the walls are paper thin—you can hear everything. I know you’re supposed to enjoy nature, but a TV would have been nice, especially with all the background noise.

The lady who helped us and the bed were positives. You really need to light up your sign; it was hard to find in the dark. A continental breakfast would be nice since there’s no restaurant. The lady was very helpful on the phone. There were spots on the chair and floor, so it didn’t feel clean. It was okay overall; we stayed late and left early, so it was fine.

It was pretty far away from Ashland, and if it had been half the distance to Ashland it would have been better.
