The old building looked charming, a bit off the street, and I think it will be my future hotel in Breda. I enjoyed the cozy vibe of the hotel and the breakfast, which was delicious, especially the Turkish egg.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. After some hassle with the original room, we got an upgrade and the final room was excellent. The breakfast was also very good. However, the booked room did not meet expectations, and the alternative room had lighting issues. The quality‑price ratio was not right.

The location and the bed were nice. The room had no ventilation (no view outside and no window that could open), no table or seating (just one chair in a small corner), and the corridors smelled bad from strong chemical toilet spray.
