The cottage sits nicely in North Holland, a classic single‑storey holiday spot. It was fairly tidy, the kitchen had most appliances (though no microwave), and the Wi‑Fi was speedy. Parking is just a few meters away. The advertised microwave was missing, which was inconvenient. The shower door doesn’t seal fully, so a careless shower can flood the bathroom, and the toilet flush often sticks. The fridge is tiny, only an under‑counter unit. Messages to the host went unanswered for a long time; the reception handled all communication for the park, so I had to ping several times before getting a reply. Visiting the reception in person helped, but despite reporting the problems right after arrival, nothing was fixed during our stay. We eventually settled on a partial refund.
