The lady who greeted me was very helpful and explained everything in detail, but I didn’t need a room that included breakfast. The omelet was smaller than a palm, came with three slices of bread and a single sausage, plus tiny plastic packs of jam and butter—unappetizing and unsatisfying. The price was high, so the breakfast was a real letdown.

The place is in an excellent location, just a one‑minute walk from Bikini Beach; the room was clean, had a hairdryer and a working ventilation fan in the bathroom, which is handy for a windowless room. The manager was very approachable and responded quickly to messages, even giving us free snorkeling fins. We also had a fantastic time on the excursions: the manager was flexible and let us change plans at the last minute. The two guides who actually took us on the trips were professional, very kind, and did a great job. I highly recommend the snorkeling and sandbank tours. The room is quite small and has no windows; it isn’t serviced daily, though the staff will give fresh towels if you bring the used ones to reception. Breakfast looked like a beautiful beach in the listing photos, but construction of artificial barriers has sadly affected the area. As for the excursions, the manager acts as an intermediary; although he initially implied he would lead the trips himself, he organized them with external guides. We also had some issues with the logistics of transfers and excursion pick‑up times, which caused confusion, although the manager was professional and offered discounts to compensate for the inconvenience.

At the airport we were greeted as agreed, and the staff from the port of Omdurman brought us to the hotel. We were offered a choice between a Maldivian or English breakfast; we chose the Maldivian breakfast, juice and freshly brewed coffee, and we were satisfied with our choice. Breakfast was served on the beach. The hotel is close to Bikini Beach. The island itself was liked; it’s small, with a few shops. We dined at various cafés, all delicious. The home‑style reef is very good, with a small sandy spit.

The rooms are very clean, new, and cleaned daily, with hot water; the beach is just one minute away. There is no possibility to buy food or drinks from sunrise to sunset (Ramadan). That isn’t my religion, so when they observe Ramadan it doesn’t mean all tourists must also observe it. People on the island are rather unfriendly.
