The staff were friendly and helpful. Even with a full room on Saturday, service was smooth and efficient. It’s easy to reach and there’s a lovely walk in the village of Sautour.

The surroundings, the village, the vibe of the place, and the friendliness of the staff were all wonderful. The finishes and the wear on some of the room walls were disappointing.

The room and bathroom were spotless, and the place sits in a lovely, pleasant area. But the pool area was cramped – only three loungers for four of us, and on day two we were told to move one out, leaving just two for us. Breakfast cost €70 for four, which felt steep for the limited bread, fruit, and pastries. The downstairs room was small, and with no air‑conditioning it was hard to sleep in the heat; the fan that was provided didn’t help much.

The setting, friendly staff, pool, and restaurant were all great. The only downside was the heat in the room – it would have been nicer if there was some cooling option. Summer is tough, and at night it’s even harder to get comfortable.

The outdoor facilities were solid, but the food preparation left something to be desired.
