The place was spotlessly clean, which mattered to me because I’m picky. Everything we needed was there, and the beds were super comfortable with high‑quality bedding. The hosts were friendly but not overbearing, offering tea, coffee, and breakfast right when we arrived. The modern décor had charming details like a milk jug cover and a dishcloth, and the shower’s water pressure was fantastic. I enjoyed my stay so much I wished we could have stayed longer, and honestly, there was nothing to criticize.

“Julie and Peter welcome to New Zealand”

Julie and Peter were the best hosts ever; even during the cyclone they ensured our safety by providing torches and candles. The property had everything we needed for a short or long stay, and we were there for 7 days. The breakfast tray was refilled when needed, as were towels and bedding. The washing machine and tumble dryer were very useful. Julie even brought homemade scones with jam and butter, plus hot cross buns. They invited us to join them at the RSA club and offered to drop us off in town, which was just a 15‑minute walk away. It was a perfect start to our New Zealand holiday—thank you.
