The common areas were well maintained. Chef David was very kind and always cooked delicious dishes. Unfortunately, the other kitchen staff member was not welcoming, always angry, and seemed upset. Overall, the staff is fairly friendly and listens to requests, trying to involve you in daily social activities. There was a room issue upon arrival, so we slept in another room that night before moving. The internet was very weak, slow, and unstable. I don’t like that all tours, experiences, and extra services cost more than comparable prices elsewhere (I paid more than double for a surf lesson compared to a nearby country, and the instructor also wanted me to pay for the taxi). Guests usually love discounts for activities, and it’s unpleasant to feel like a tourist being ripped off for experiences. The only perks were nightclub entries at night.
