The owner is friendly and tries to bring guests together for tours, but the cleanliness was a bit lacking.

The moment I walked in, Ed made me feel right at home—he introduced me to the other guests, shared travel advice, and even arranged rides when I needed them. The rooms were snug, the bathroom in the room was solid, and breakfast was a real treat, perfect fuel before heading to the waterfalls. Only thing missing? A hammock to chill in.

Ed turned out to be an amazing host. He kept throwing out suggestions for places to see in the Chapada, good restaurants, and was always around to answer any question or just chat after a long day.
