The exterior and landscape are unique, but the pot was missing and the locks didn’t close properly. Dogs—none from the owner—annoyed us, apparently intentionally, even at night. The Jacuzzi at Villa Verde on the floor below kept us awake one night, but it was later adjusted. The village feels quite run-down and poorly maintained, yet it’s full of taverns.

The house is pretty with a nice sea view and the parking on the street is convenient. However, there’s no awning or roof fan on the balcony, so from 12:00 pm to 23:00 the heat is unbearable. The balcony also lacks screens, letting flies, sandflies, and mosquitoes in.

The apartment, painted in two shades of white and yellow, gives the vibe of Greece and is just a stone’s throw from the sea. The village is genuinely quiet, with few tourists. On the downside, it’s remote and has very few shops.

The balcony and kitchen look good, but the mattress is bad and the bathroom, especially the shower, is poor.
