For an oceanfront stay, it’s perfect! You’ll wake up to waves and surfers, the only place in the world. The shower is a bit rustic.

The place has a lovely beachfront location, good quality bedding, and the waves provide a soothing lullaby before sleep, with no street noise at night because the roads are far away, and it’s inexpensive for the area; however, the rooms only have the bare essentials of furniture, the walls lack any décor, and some equipment needs repair such as electrical outlets and switches.

I was drawn to the spot because it sits in a classic house and the room itself is very plain, but the shared bathroom left a lot to be desired; Susy, the host, was friendly, while the rest of the team didn’t make me feel welcome at all.
