The central location was very good, the staff were very friendly, the breakfast was fantastic, and the ambience was nice; but if you’re not familiar with Quedlinburg, finding the hotel can be a bit tricky, and there’s no parking right at the hotel—parking is a 5‑minute walk away.

It’s an old house, beautifully decorated, giving the stay a special touch; the lady who attended us was very kind and always attentive to our needs, and her care helped us cope with the inconveniences. The charm of an old house comes with its own drawbacks: there’s no elevator and you have to haul luggage up a spiral staircase that’s hard for older people like me; the floors and staircase are wooden, so foot traffic noise is loud; the room is very small, with a double bed against a wall, so the person on that side can’t get down easily; on top of that, there are no outlets near the bed. Parking isn’t close, and you have to carry your luggage about 300 meters along cobblestones.

Despite the building’s age, the interior is very well furnished. The breakfast plates were prepared with great care and abundance, and the service was very friendly.

“Rundum zufrieden”

The staff were very friendly, and the room was cozy and small but nice. The breakfast was the highlight – no buffet, but the food was brought to the table in a pleasant selection that was tasty, served in a comfortable breakfast room. The room was quiet; even though we were in the middle of town, we slept undisturbed with the window open.
