The spot is excellent, surrounded by food streets, and at this price it works well for a short trip to catch a show—after the performance the traffic gets jammed, making it hard to get a taxi, but you can walk back to the hotel in about 30 minutes; there are bubble‑tea shops and a Family Mart nearby, and late‑night food is still available, while grabbing a ride on Grab is easy. If you’re there just for the show, this hotel fits the bill. The bed sheets weren’t bright white, showing a slight yellow tint, but I used my own sheet once so it didn’t matter. Late at night and early in the morning there’s some street noise, probably from road work, so the soundproofing is a bit weak, though overall it’s fine.

The attitude was terrible and the power went out in the middle of the night; when I asked the front desk what was happening they told me to call the electricity company myself, which is unacceptable for a hotel that has no backup power, and the staff were extremely rude about it. It would be better if the place just shut down rather than try to improve.

The hotel's location was a major plus, but unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. Our room had ants, no mini fridge, and the air conditioning only worked if we left a keycard in it, which wasn't ideal given that we only had one keycard. The locks on our door were broken, making us feel unsafe, and the room was dirty. When we showered, water splashed everywhere, making a mess of the bathroom and toilet.
