I booked three nights and was greeted warmly by the lady in charge of the accommodation. The room, bathroom, and kitchen are gorgeous, all spotless and brand‑new. The balcony is a real treat. The mattress and linens are very comfortable, the room is spacious and quiet, the air‑conditioning works well, the hair dryer is superb, the shower is great, and there’s a iron and a safe. The kitchen comes stocked with everything needed for a stay, plus coffee and tea to make drinks; everything is clean and organized. Other guests in nearby rooms were also quiet. I felt safe in the building, which has an elevator. The location is excellent and secure, with a supermarket very close, a restaurant, and the main street with many eateries right nearby; it’s the busiest part of town but still very quiet, and the city itself is calm. You can walk to the train station and the port. If you’re arriving by train with heavy luggage, it’s worth taking a taxi or walking and stopping along the way. There’s a climb (about 100 m) to reach the accommodation. The lady in charge waited for me and helped with my luggage, but I found the climb manageable. The quality of the accommodation and the service definitely make up for everything. She was very attentive, kind, friendly, and gave me many tips and recommendations about the city. Service was excellent. Breakfast is at a separate location; the hotel gives you a card to present at a large, very good café on the main street, less than five minutes on foot. I ordered a croissant and juice, and they were great. I highly recommend this place and would definitely return.
