The concept of comfortable tents is very appealing. The location in nature makes the stay immersive. The tent is spacious, and the glass shower overlooking the jungle is excellent. The attached restaurant offers family-style food. Our tent didn’t have the best jungle view, which is a shame because many tents were empty.

This is my second visit to Tami Lodge, and it remains one of the best spots to escape everyday life; surrounded by mountains and a river, Providencia feels so peaceful, and I absolutely love the scenery. The only downside is that rooms lack electricity, so you’ll need to use the shared charging area for phones, tablets, or laptops; only 4x4 cars are allowed, which makes the drive a bit long, but the peace away from the noise is worth it.

The eco‑friendly lodge offers an unusual setting with stunning cloud‑forest views, and the staff are very helpful and friendly; breakfast is excellent. The drive to Tami is an adventure, and it’s hard to spot signs for the restaurant or parking (though reception signs are clear). Moving luggage between the car and the room is not easy.
