I rarely give a 10/10 rating, but Botrytis Borhotel truly deserves the maximum score. The location is great, the environment is quiet, the building is modern, and the garden and terrace are wonderful. Rooms are comfortable and tastefully furnished. The highlight is the bathroom, featuring a huge walk‑in shower. Built‑in wardrobes and ample storage were available everywhere. The buffet breakfast used high‑quality ingredients and met every need. The staff were extra kind and attentive, and after we left they wrote to us saying my mother had forgotten her gold ring there… I could never imagine getting caught up in anything, but I don’t want to either. There was nothing negative.

The breakfast was fresh, tasty, and varied. The setting was soothing, comfortable, and beautiful. The place was tidy, efficient, and the staff were friendly. There was nothing negative.

“Wonderful choice and great location, for a wine region getaway”

The hotel has only 18 rooms yet offers the amenities of a much larger property. Downstairs is a large entertainment complex with an indoor hot tub, sauna, showers, private baths, and an entertainment center featuring ping‑pong, darts, foosball, checkers, chess, and ping‑pong. There’s also a sizable children’s playroom. The main floor houses the reception and a comfortable dining area where breakfast is served. My room was a suite with a large wrap‑around balcony and kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator and cooking top. The bed was very comfortable, the sheets luxurious, and the bathroom quite large; everything was immaculately clean. The living room had a very large sofa and two televisions. The view of the valley was beautiful. The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from several restaurants, historic churches, and wineries, and parking is convenient on site. Everything was fantastic.

After we left the hotel, they started sending us emails saying we had to pay a lot more money for a door repair that was their fault, while Booking told us we didn't have to pay and they were just trying to squeeze us out of a lot of cash.
