The kasbah was truly stunning, very clean and surrounded by nature; the lady was an excellent cook and extremely kind, we had a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone.

The welcome was lovely, we ate with the host and the food was outstanding traditional Moroccan cuisine, something we’ve enjoyed in this great country many times; the valley setting is beautiful and we could see the Milky Way because the night was clear with very little light pollution. Being off the beaten track can be both a plus and a minus depending on what you’re after.

The place, the reception and the meals were all excellent.

Nadaj, a lovely woman who doesn’t speak French but is easy to understand, cooks superbly – the tagine is fantastic and breakfasts are very hearty! The property sits beside a pleasant river, great for a late‑afternoon swim. Unfortunately there is no pool and the door to our room couldn’t be closed.

We were welcomed as a family with great warmth. We had trouble finding the place, but once we arrived it felt like heaven on earth. The oasis and the kasbah have been the highlight of our trip to Morocco so far. The pool was a nice refresher. Our host was wonderfully hospitable and provided delicious food, with tasty tagine and the best couscous we’ve ever had. Breakfast was so abundant that we struggled to finish all the tasty items. It was fantastic. The facilities are somewhat dated, but those who don’t mind will experience a slice of real Moroccan life. We’ll definitely come back!
