“No entiendo que alguien le ponga menos de 10”
From our very early arrival at 5:00 am when we were allowed to check in and store all our bags, to our departure when we could still leave bags and even shower before heading to the bus back to Istanbul, the service was spectacular. They helped us with everything without hovering, so we didn’t feel like overwhelmed tourists. My advice is to set aside any doubts and let yourself be carried along; you’ll see it if you walk the street and feel a bit wary. In the room you feel like a king of a medieval castle—comfortable, spacious, clean, surrounded by stone arches, absolutely spectacular and cozy. Regarding breakfast, it was freshly made, varied with vegetables, fruit, a freshly cooked omelet if you want something, and you could ask for anything without any commitment. The pastry and fresh bread were great. I could keep writing until I get bored. To top it all off, they learned it was my wife’s birthday and had several spectacular details, obviously without asking for anything in return, and they even waited until 11:00 pm to give the gift in person. It’s the smallest and most charming five‑star hotel (I have no idea how many stars it actually has) I’ve ever stayed in on all my trips, and I can assure you I travel a lot for both work and pleasure.
I wish I could stay longer… it was also true that it was hard to find with Google Maps because it doesn’t work especially well in this part of Cappadocia, but any local will know exactly how to guide you and where it is, so I recommend asking and forgetting Google Maps.
