“Espectacular caravanserai adaptado a nuestros tiempos”
The spectacular caravanserai turned into a hotel. It’s central. The breakfast is good. Free parking is available. It’s worth the indulgence.

Nothing was good. Consider yourself sleeping inside a night club. There is live music in the middle of the hotel, it was ended at 11pm but people were still chatting loudly at 2:00am. Even there was a table which 4 men drinking infront of the door of my room. All these continued even afIter i called reception at 2am. It was impossible to sleep whole night

The hotel and the whole city felt like a fairy tale! We really enjoyed the warm, traditional vibes and the rich history and story. The restaurant outside, where we had a lovely breakfast, was also very beautiful. If you want to truly experience Tokat, you have to stay at The Silk Road Hotel. Nothing to add.

The caravanserai vibe, the historic setting, the restaurant, breakfast in the big hall, and the parking next to the hotel were all great. The gravel road in front of the reception was too loud, not very convenient, and they offered us an adjacent room while the hotel was far from full; the basic suite was underwhelming for the price of 180 €.

You feel like you’re at one of the Silk Road stops. The breakfasts are amazing, the traditional dishes are excellent, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We especially want to thank Mr. Gökhan and Mr. Emre. It’s a wonderful hotel for those who want to experience Turkish traditions and culture, though the nightly live music can be tiring and overwhelming for anyone seeking peace and quiet.
