The venue is truly breathtaking. The wine selection is excellent and the food is very good, and overall the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The somewhat sarcastic humor of the head waiter at the castle restaurant doesn’t appeal to everyone, and reprimanding staff in front of guests is poorly received – even if the spoken language isn’t understood.

The place is exceptionally beautiful; the surroundings are great, the buildings are tastefully and high‑quality renovated and equipped, and there is plenty of nature and quiet.

The location and rooms are undoubtedly great, and the staff at the wine tasting and reception are very friendly and accommodating. We were in a transition period, so it got cold at night because the heating was not yet operational throughout the complex; we were given a space heater immediately, which solved the problem. In the evening we attended an event at the castle and walked back to the hotel. The street lighting from about 22:00 was turned off from the storage area to the hotel, which was somewhat dangerous and should not have happened. The breakfast buffet selection has shrunk noticeably since our first visit two years ago, and on Saturday morning there was no rye bread available.
