The hotel boasts an indoor/outdoor pool with a swim-up bar and the Bistro restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a casual setting near downtown San Antonio attractions and Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

Everything about this place hit the mark for me; the fresh remodel made it feel brand new.

The location is close to Sea World. I had booked a room weeks ahead, but when I checked in they said the room I’d reserved was no longer available; they told me it was first‑come, first‑serve. The room they handed me had a water heater that kept cycling on and off while showering.

The staff were friendly, but the room was filthy and in disrepair, the walls were paper thin and you could hear everyone around you, the parking lot was a disaster with dumpsters and renovation debris, it wasn’t clear that parking was an additional charge before or during check‑in, and there were no desirable amenities on the property.
