The place had a great location and a nicely sized kitchen, but I wish there were a teapot and bone china cups because thick pottery alters the taste of tea – as an Englishman, I really enjoy my tea!

Location was perfect, tucked on Tofino's outskirts in a quiet residential zone. The building had plenty of character, and the surroundings were peaceful with trees and birds. Dedicated guest parking was available. Our room was spacious, clean, and well maintained, with nice décor and ample storage. It featured a fully equipped kitchen, a comfy bed, a bathtub, a TV, and even a fireplace. Wi‑Fi worked smoothly. We had everything we needed and wished we could stay longer. The owners were very helpful, giving us a map and useful info about the area, including where to get a park pass. They also pointed us toward a walking trail we hadn’t known about and steered us away from one that wasn’t very interesting. Late check‑in was hassle‑free. The only downside was the lack of an elevator, so we had to haul our luggage upstairs, but that was manageable.

The location was beautiful, the number and variety of birds and flowers was delightful. I really enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking coffee and watching the hummingbirds. There are great options for eating and beaches within walking distance. Ken very graciously added an extra traveler to our booking. However, the pull out bed was in the living area and did not have great light- or noise-proofing
