The location is great, right in the city centre, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the price was too high for just a night in a hostel. We stayed over the weekend and knew the place was old and the décor matched that, which I actually liked, but the armchair had stains, holes, and visible stains on the walls, and the other bed didn't have a mattress topper but instead a thick blanket folded in two layers. The room smelled like a cat and was stale; I had to open the window, and my friends staying in adjacent rooms said the same. In the second floor bathroom, the light didn't work and the wall lights in our room also failed.

The rooms I booked were for my family and friends who travelled from afar to my wedding, only to find a disturbing smell, dirty floors and bedsheets, and they were even afraid to use the showers there. My own mother and father could not sleep at all, and they had to leave early to find a place to sleep because it was impossible in Kievari. The staff seemed nosy and asked far too many questions. I feel bad for my parents for having to stay there, because it was the nearest option. They left a day early. Thank you so much for ruining my very little family time I had.

I was lucky to have the common areas all to myself since there weren't many other guests. However, I have to say that the hostel felt quite chilly and had a strong unpleasant smell, likely due to some dampness issues. To make matters worse, I wasn't able to get the Wi-Fi working despite it being advertised as available. Overall, it was a bit of a mixed experience.

The service at this place was incredibly friendly, which was a big plus. Additionally, the location was spot on, making it easy to get around. Unfortunately, I don't have any negative comments to share, but the positives definitely made my stay enjoyable.
