The surroundings were beautiful and lots of Ara's flew overhead. We were upgraded from a double room to a chalet, which turned out to be a very old house with no comfort except a fridge, it wasn’t clean, the chairs were half collapsed, we booked two nights but left after one, and we can’t understand the positive reviews on Booking about this place; maybe other houses are better but house 5 is a faded glory.

A dreamy stay right by the sea! We had a wonderful time at the Corcovado Beach Lodge. Our round little house was just perfect: it had its own bathroom, a well‑working air‑conditioner, a handy fridge, and cozy seating. The view straight onto the sea is fantastic, waking up to the gentle sea sound and the calls of the Aras is an absolute highlight and true Pura‑Vida feeling! The tiny crab in the sink drain is a cool surprise 😍 We’d come back anytime and recommend the lodge without hesitation.

The manager helped us set up a bioluminescence excursion in less than an hour, the location was very pleasant, and the air‑conditioning plus fan were great.

I liked the balance of being a short walk from town services without all the hustle, and Doña Julia and the gardener were ready to help with anything I needed, but we had to leave early.
