The staff were incredibly helpful and could fulfill any request; thanks for your efforts and attention!
“Untrained staff, poor service”
At least their water heater was working. The lack of planning hit hard: I arrived at 12 pm, checked into my room, and saw a very long and detailed menu, which seemed great. I called to order food, only to be told that none of the menu items were available except plain rice and jollof. I asked for fries because plain rice is something I’d cook at home only once in a while and wouldn’t buy at a hotel. The lady said fries were available, so I agreed. The receptionist said it would take 45 minutes, and I was told only after an hour that everything in the kitchen was finished and the manager had left to buy groceries. I was told to stop laughing because they were laughing on the phone. I ordered from Bolt Food and my food arrived in under 40 minutes. The receptionist didn’t even know the room number to dial to reach the reception, which made me question the purpose of the telephone in the room. They kept knocking on my door, waking me up from sleep. They said I could reach them via WhatsApp, so I did, but when I called them via WhatsApp call, they answered with a normal call that didn’t go through, and nothing told them to use WhatsApp, so they always had to come and knock and disturb my sleep. The service was poor and the staff seemed untrained, but there was one gentleman who made a difference. He’s very dark. I called later in the evening to check if the kitchen was operating and I could order something; he said no but still asked what I wanted to order, made an effort, and got me something to eat without any stress.
The parking area was too cramped for my car.
Breakfast was solid and the location works well, yet the heater leaked and the toilet’s flush seemed to back up, probably because the main pit is full.
The breakfast was great, and there was nothing else to complain about.
