They were super informal, asked me to cancel because of health reasons and said they couldn't host me. I get that someone might get sick, but stopping the whole booking for one person feels like a sign of a shaky operation. Definitely a bad experience with that business and the platform that pushes these shady deals.

The house was gorgeous and the spot was perfect—quiet, friendly hosts, and breakfast included. Loved the vibe.

What a tranquil spot right in nature with a view of the ocean and a warm welcome. Breakfast was a treat, served under a huge old tree with birds and monkeys around. Dinner was tasty and healthy, and I’d definitely book a yoga class with Anouk. Just remember you’ll need a car, preferably a 4WD, to hit the nearby beaches and the more remote ones.
