The highlight was the location, perched on a rock with mountain and lake views, and the snowy scenery was lovely from inside and outside the hotel; the climate during my stay was pleasant, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was decent, especially the local food. Getting to the hotel was a real downside: the last 3.5 to 4 km from the highway is a bumpy, rough road through deep plantation, and the ride was noisy and uncomfortable, making the approach unpleasant. Room amenities fell short: only bath towels were provided, with no bath mats for wet feet after showering, no hair dryer, and no iron or ironing facility; slippers and bathing soap were missing and only arrived after several reminders. The staff seemed new or in training and weren’t fully prepared for guest requests, so things often required repeated reminders and long waits.
