The room was fine, but the doormat was very dirty and the bathroom was cramped, plus the tap had no water flow.

“Worst hotel to stay and unhygienic”

Worst Hotel Experience Honestly, I felt completely misled after booking this hotel. When I saw the hotel online, the pictures made it look clean, well-maintained and much better than what I actually experienced. Based on those photos and the room category, I paid a good amount expecting a decent and comfortable stay. However, the reality was completely different. The room I was initially given was in extremely poor condition. The walls were dirty, the floor was unhygienic, the toilet was dirty and the overall condition of the room was absolutely unacceptable. It looked like an old, poorly maintained part of the property that was completely different from what was shown online. After speaking to the staff, they eventually shifted me to another room, which was slightly better, but even that room was far from what I expected after paying for a good room. The overall cleanliness and hygiene standards were extremely disappointing. The staff behaviour was also very pathetic and unprofessional, which made the overall experience even worse. My biggest disappointment is the huge difference between the online pictures and the actual condition of the hotel. If I had known the real condition beforehand, I would never have booked this property. My sincere advice to other travellers: please don't book this hotel without checking it properly. Rameswaram has many other accommodation options, and I would strongly recommend doing some more research before choosing this property. I genuinely feel that I wasted my money here. The hotel sits right next to the temple, which is great, but the toilet wasn’t very clean.

“Walkable distance to temple, great staff helping you out… only minus was cockroaches on table.”

The location is close to the temple, yet I found cockroaches on the table.
