“Unique experience!”

Cabin 007 was wonderful and cozy, loved the surroundings and the lake vibe – a different way to experience Japan. The staff were very welcoming and helpful; we’re glad we stopped by! We’ll definitely try their other locations if we get the chance. For those who don’t travel with a car (which is most international tourists), the cabin has a BBQ pit and kitchenette, but the reception shop only stocks a minimum (soda, ice cream, instant noodles). So bring your own food and groceries for the whole stay or plan taxi trips to nearby village restaurants, which isn’t ideal. It would be nice to have some vegetables, fruits, poultry, etc. in the shop for guests to buy in the future.

Sauna experience! It was fun to light the fire, and the campfire explanations were thorough, so it was relatively easy to do.

プライベートサウナが想像以上にすてき。ヤギさんといい、池といい、ロケーション最高。 コーヒーミルやオリジナルタンブラー等、部屋の造りの凝り方など全てが格調高くてよい。清掃も行き届いていた。. 10棟の冷蔵庫が壊れていたのか、朝開けたら冷えていなかった。 ザルやボールなどもう少し備品が欲しかった。 部屋の一段目の高さが意外に高く、降りるとき少し危険を感じた。 エキストラベッドの出し入れで、足踏み台を取ってしまったせいもあるが。

“A bit pricey, but nice”

The sauna was really cool and we loved it; it offered perfect relaxation for the evenings. We appreciated the “in nature” vibe and the location was peaceful and beautiful. On the downside, it felt a bit pricey for what we received. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable, and we didn’t like the bed linen either—there was no duvet cover, so there’s room to improve the sleeping comfort.

I liked the location—it was quiet, remote, and surrounded by greenery, and the drive into Earthboat was scenic. The BBQ equipment was well stocked. The checkout at 10 am was too early; early check‑in or late check‑out would cost extra. The cold plunge area could be better covered for privacy, and the mini fridge was useless because it didn’t keep food cold. The bed was positioned at a weird angle and wasn’t comfortable.
