The place was spotless and right next to the bus stop, and checking in was a breeze – the little fridge came in handy. Unfortunately the walls were thin, so I could hear early‑morning chatter, and the door code was something anyone could guess.

For the price it was a solid pick, and even though it was my first time in a shared‑style spot I settled in fast. The only downside was a whiff of cigarette smoke drifting up from the balcony above on my final night.

Our flight got delayed, and the host happily pushed our checkout later, while the cleaning crew were friendly and helpful. The downside was the street noise leaking in around the window AC, so the room was louder than ideal.

The room was tiny yet had everything we needed, and the newly redone bathroom worked fine; it stayed spotless and there was street parking close by, so we’d book again. On the flip side, the spot feels a bit off‑the‑beat, the walls are paper‑thin so we heard neighbours coming and going, and the pillows were pretty firm.

The room looked just like the pictures, which was nice, but at checkout we were asked to wash the dishes, sort the trash and it felt like they expected us to strip the bed and tidy the whole place; on top of that the bed creaked a lot.
