The Tumut Farrington motel is centrally located, 5 minutes from the Tumut Valley Violet Farm. It features a seasonal saltwater outdoor pool, barbecue facilities, and free Wi-Fi. Fully air-conditioned rooms have a fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, flat-screen TV, and electric blankets. A cooked/continental breakfast is served weekdays. Nearby attractions include Yarrangobilly Caves (50 minutes), Mount Selwyn, and Wagga Wagga Airport (1 hour).

The Farrington Motel was horrible, dirty, dusty, smelly and infested, and should be fumigated. Worn out terrible furniture, moth eaten curtains to the point they were falling to bits with a hole as big as my hand. We had room number seven. The microwave was dirty, the refrigerator cupboard was falling to bits, dangerous and filthy. The cupboards were laden with dust and not cleaned for yrs no lid on the rubbish bin. This motel should lose your rating in any way or form. I have been charged for the one night and I'm requesting a full refund. Everything about this unit was wrong, the stairs were dirty and dusty, with dead plants on a table and chairs on the landing. Which I believe would be a safety hazard if there was a fire. We both had a rash on the back of our legs a day later. The club chair pictured i think was picked up from the hard rubbish on the side of the road
