Staying at Re Umberto went overall very well. The property sits in a fairly central spot and we really liked how convenient the private parking right below the house was. A particular highlight was definitely the jacuzzi in the bathroom, truly beautiful and enjoyable. We only ran into a small issue with the lighting during our stay, but Marco, the owner, stepped in promptly to help, which was much appreciated. The only thing I’d improve is the kitchen: it’s missing some basic equipment and, most importantly, a microwave would be very useful. I know the photos don’t show it, but a microwave and perhaps a simple coffee machine are almost a must‑have for a more complete and functional kitchen, especially for longer stays. Overall, we were happy and the stay was positive. With a few minor kitchen additions, the place could be even more comfortable and complete. On the downside, there’s no washing machine, though there are drying lines, and a washer would round out the house, especially for longer stays. Also, a small portable iron would be handy for quick ironing.
