The hotel sits right on the lake, so the views are gorgeous and getting around town was a breeze. Our room was huge and packed with everything we needed, and breakfast right by the water was just perfect. The staff were always ready to help, which made the stay easy. Unfortunately I had to leave early, so I didn’t get to enjoy it as long as I wanted.

We spent an entire week in Dali and both the kids and we never wanted to go anywhere else. The spot is beautiful, the rooms are lovely and the food was excellent, but what really made the stay special was the staff – they were friendly, always on WeChat, and even offered me medicine when I hurt my heel. Every evening around 7:30 pm a group would gather for a music‑filled movement class, and the daily walks along the lake were simply amazing.

The staff are fantastic – super kind, attentive and everything runs like clockwork. Right after I booked they set up a WeChat group so I could ask about anything, even stuff unrelated to the hotel, and they were quick to help. Lunch on‑site was tasty and reasonably priced, and the Tibetan wheat beer they serve is something you won’t find elsewhere.

The spot can’t be beat – right on the lake with a massive window that frames a breathtaking view. Everything else is straightforward, but that view alone makes the stay worth it.
