“Fabulous farmhouse worth escaping to just to meet the host..”
We found a beautiful, peaceful getaway from everyday life hosted by one of the kindest people we’ve met during a short stay. Just being around her was soothing. The location is close enough to great restaurants and the surrounding areas ready to explore. We had to leave, though… ❤️
The accommodation is beautiful, the pool is huge with a fantastic view, and the hosts are warm. The breakfast was tasty 😊!! We spent two nights here on our way to France, a perfect start to our holiday, thank you!
“È un posto meraviglioso per rilassarsi”
It’s a perfect spot to unplug, surrounded by nature.
“Oase van rust op unieke plek”
The house is gorgeous with a pool. It’s a very unique B&B with a roomy room. Our room on the top floor was quite warm, but the fans made sleeping comfortable. The beds are lovely, the shower is nice and clean. Breakfast is simple but enough to start the day right—good bread, yoghurt with fresh fruit, and Inge or Renze can whip up an egg for you. Keep in mind the surroundings: unpaved roads and a fairly remote setting. Few dining or shopping options—just one local restaurant a few minutes away where you can really enjoy a good meal.
“Mitigé”
The common area feels very friendly and pleasant, and you can use a fridge if you ignore the hygiene. The pool area is quiet. Don't trust the photos—they misled us. They’re from the opening and never updated. The outdoors are left derelict by choice, giving an abandoned vibe, starting with the path that would be better suited for a 4x4 because the weeds rub against the body. The green spaces around the pool are overrun by weeds sometimes taller than a meter. The shared fridge is really dirty. We would have liked to know that neither the rooms nor the house lock (there’s only one key for everyone hidden in the garden) and our door had no handle at all—just a stone block kept it. A mediocre way to leave your stuff and feel at ease. The shower tap was broken, making it hard to use. When we go to a place like this we expect local products, but that’s a miss! In the hazelnut region the spread is a first‑price Lidl, and there’s little choice at breakfast—don’t look for local cheeses or anything else… everything is Lidl. The shower also has Lidl products. At the price of the room it’s almost a disrespect to the client. Especially don’t arrive before the time (4 pm, so relatively late) or you’ll get a reflection!
