The handcrafted, artisanal room (not the barrel) was beautiful, but the property could use a little love. I booked this stay expecting a distillery tour to be included, yet at check‑in I was told that was wrong. The place is WAAAY out of town, and we were the only guests at the pool—maybe the only guests staying there? Navigating after dark was tough, and we couldn’t find the restaurant until a staff member led us with a flashlight. Kinda creepy.

El lugar en general es bonito, pero el precio no lo vale. Hice la reserva muchas veces, tres exactamente, y me mandaron correos: dos de tarjeta declinada y otro de que no era posible recibirme, así que pagué por booking y al llegar resulta que en una del hotel sí la cobraron y tenía dos habitaciones; fue un error de ellos y no hay reembolsos, así que tocará en otra ocasión pagar esa habitación.

It was a unique experience; all the staff was amazing! Breakfast was delicious. Check‑out is at 11 am, and you must be out with all belongings or you’ll get charged— they are sticklers about the time.

Sleeping in a tequila barrel, the bed, and the senses tour. Ask for Pablo, he is the absolute best tequila tour guide you can wish for! The pool looked poorly maintained, no towels or sunscreens at the pool area, and the pool itself seemed old and dirty, so we didn’t dare go in.
