I stayed in a stunning place with very courteous staff and rooms that were both traditionally charming and simultaneously modern. The breakfast was rather sparse, and in a village I’d expected more traditional dishes. Even though the hotel says it’s pet‑friendly, pets weren’t allowed in the common area, which conflicted with the beautiful resident cat that could have been in that space. I think pet‑friendly places should also have common areas where animals are permitted, even if they’re kept away from other guests. Other than that, the hotel was gorgeous!

The location is outstanding! The owners are fantastic! Every space is meticulously maintained, with a unique style and a lot of care 🥰 The outdoor area is simply marvelous! As for the rooms, what can I say? Spotlessly clean, with a wonderful view!

“Excellent séjour”

The welcome was excellent and the dinner was very good. The hotel is quiet, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. The hosts are truly charming. I only wish I could have stayed longer than one night!

Astra Hotel is truly exceptional. From the moment you arrive you sense that a great deal of thought has gone into every little detail, and that the hotel is run with genuine love for the place and for the people who stay there. The atmosphere is warm and family‑like, the rooms are cozy and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent, with a wonderful selection of homemade treats. Unfortunately, we missed dinner, but we have no doubt it must have been just as good. We did, however, enjoy a lovely glass of local wine in the evening, an amazing wine cake made by the owner herself, and they even made us a delicious toast so we wouldn’t go to bed hungry. The hotel overlooks a beautiful mountain landscape, which makes the whole experience even more special. A special thank you to Ermis, the owner’s son, who gave us excellent recommendations for places to visit in the area. Both he and his mother were absolutely lovely, warm and welcoming. This is one of those rare places where you can really feel the care, personality and heart behind it. Highly recommended – we would happily return.
