The staff were friendly and helpful, moving us to another room after we raised a complaint. The location is close to the city center and other venues, and there’s a large open parking lot. However, the buildings are old. The first room we got had a gecko, termites, and a bad smell. The second room had an adjoining door, so we could hear the TV and people talking from the other side. A big acacia tree near the canteen could fall onto parked cars. The guard at the entrance made us write our names on a piece of paper even though we told him we had a confirmed reservation and might check in at the front desk; we complied, but he returned the paper and told us to hand it to the front desk. One morning we had intermittent or no hot water because the supply was insufficient. The TV in our room wasn’t working.
