The owner himself keeps the place in top shape with a firm hand wrapped in velvet, handling the garden, breakfast, and everything else; the view over the fields is gorgeous because the hotel sits on a hill. I wish we had stayed longer!

The owner is very friendly and makes you feel a lot of heart and passion—an experience! The access road, however, is a disaster.

The “small” but fine maison is far from the bustle of the well‑known cities yet still central enough to reach all cities quickly. If you’re looking for peace and relaxation on holiday, this is the spot, and if you want to explore a lively city in the evening, that’s also possible. Everything at Maison 1933 is enchanting and lovingly furnished. Breakfast was wonderful, and we enjoyed it outdoors daily. The garden, pool, and room were heavenly and incredibly clean—never seen anything like it. The heart of the house is THOMAS, friendly, helpful, warm, yet unobtrusive. We found our oasis for recovery and will return next year. No complaints.

The renovation is beautiful, circulation in the spaces is good, the décor is delicate, and the garden is lovely—peaceful place. The pool is pleasant but not as overflowing as advertised. Breakfast is the same each day, and there are no snacks available during the day, only drinks.

The hosts were very friendly and attentive, the rooms were spotless, and the breakfast was good. The garden is lovely with a nice view, making it a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the peace.
