The location and breakfast were excellent, but adjusting the shower temperature was a bit tricky.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Jinja Backpackers in a tented room that was really comfortable and featured a large semi‑outdoor bathroom. The gardens around the property were nice, and we liked relaxing in the communal seating areas or our own patio by the tent room. The dogs on site were super friendly. The coffee and breakfast were great, and the location was walkable to the source of the Nile gardens and felt safe. We ate at the restaurant a couple of times and the food was tasty and fresh. The staff were lovely. However, because the tents have open‑air elements with mosquito nets, there was sometimes noise at night that kept us awake. The WiFi wasn’t very strong, although it seemed to have an issue during our stay, so it may be fine otherwise.

A place like no other in jinja. The staff are helpful, the food is perfect and the coffee is wonderful. The rooms are comfortable and clean and you get a very good value for money from this place
