A lovely old house with charm, the perfect B&B. Ronny, our host, has a special charm and humor. We enjoyed his stories. Everything was spotless. The breakfast was typical English and good. When asked, a second coffee was offered (a little insider trick from Ronny 🫢…). The view looked over the river. We were welcomed with a glass of wine 🍷. The tricky parking situation was handled well with Ronny’s help. The parking is a bit of a challenge, but doable. If you walk into town, there’s a short stretch without a sidewalk.

The place is in a great spot, the breakfast was lovely, and the room had a beautiful view of the river. Kay and Ron are flawless hosts.

“A comfortable stay with great, friendly and generous hosts”

Ron welcomed us warmly when we arrived early and immediately explained the local area and how to get around. We loved the room; the view was fantastic and the breakfast was gorgeous. Each morning we got fresh fruit, yoghurt, coffee, and a choice of cereals. Kay prepared poached eggs and smoked salmon for us because we don't eat red meat. Ron handed us wine at check‑in, he’s an amazing character and we thoroughly enjoyed our chats.

Ronny was a perfect landlord, caring and attentive. His wife was also very nice. I’ll definitely stay there again; very accommodating, ten out of ten.

“A nice getaway in a lovely town”

The room was very clean, well equipped, and furnished to a high, classy standard. The breakfast was very tasty with high‑quality ingredients. The view from the bedroom was great across the trees and river. Walking into town takes about 10 minutes, but there’s no footpath for a short stretch and an awkward road crossing at one point. Parking at the hotel is limited, but the owner was very helpful in getting you to maneuver.
