The house was so quiet and the location was perfect for unwinding; I can’t think of any downside to our stay.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Casa dos Avos; Xavier offered many great recommendations for our trip, from hikes to what to do in Funchal and local festivities, and the room was clean with a beautiful sea view. I can only recommend this property!

The location is great, the room is large, clean, and beautiful, with a superb view from the terrace. The pool and garden are very pleasant after a hike, and breakfast is excellent and very complete. Xavier and Nathalie took care of us, giving us many daily tips to enjoy the area, and I recommend it wholeheartedly.
